In August 2018, Airstream began on a brand-new travel trailer production center. After building ended up in late 2019, the procedure of moving our travel trailer production into the brand-new area started. Production started in earnest in the brand-new area in early 2020, however the plant stayed closed to the general public through May of 2022. Now, plant trips happen daily at 1 pm and permit visitors to see on their own how we construct the renowned silver bullet face to face.

It’s a labor of love– and aside from the addition of contemporary tools and accuracy devices, it’s a procedure that hasn’t altered much throughout the last 90 years. From station to station, the whole assembly line is concentrated on workmanship and quality as we construct the world’s most identifiable travel trailers.
