Coconut Milk Rice
Active ingredients
Serves 4
2 cups rice
2 cups water
1 cup coconut milk
1 inch piece fresh ginger, cut into strips
1 inch piece of lemongrass split lengthwise
3 green onions, greens
4 cloves garlic
4 cloves
2 tablespoons neutral oil
1 teaspoon Sea salt
1 lime or lemon juiced and zested
Pinch of red chili flake
Directions
Eliminate the paper from the garlic and cut the cloves in half, reserved.
Eliminate the skin from the ginger and cut the peeled ginger into thin strips.
Slice the brilliant green ends of the onions, reserve the white stalks and reserved.
Wash the rice under running cold water up until the water runs clear.
In a pot include the oil, garlic, green onion, lemongrass, ginger, clove, and red chili flakes. Put on the range over medium heat. Stir the active ingredients continuously for 3 minutes, do not burn the garlic.
Thoroughly eliminate the garlic, green onions, clove, lemongrass and ginger from the pot. Include the rice and stir in the hot oil for 2 minutes.
Include the water, coconut milk and salt. Give a boil then minimize heat to low and cook for 15-20 minutes or up until the liquid is soaked up.
Location the cover on the pot and switch off the heat, permit to steam for 10 minutes.
Fluff prepared rice with a fork. Put the lime or lemon juice over the rice and include the passion, stir carefully.
Serve with additional lemon or lime wedges and sliced green onions.

Asian Stir-fry Beef
COMPONENTS
1 1/2 pound flank steak, cut into 1/4 inch strips
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
2 tablespoons water
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 Red pepper flakes
1/3 cup brown sugar
8 stalks scallions, green parts just, cut into 2 inch pieces
1 plan broccoli I.
4 carrots thin sliced.
Oil, neutral like canola or grape seed.
GUIDELINES.
Slice the steak in 1/4- inch pieces. Put the meat in plastic zip leading bag.
In a blow include the soy sauce, water, ginger, garlic, brown sugar and red chili flake. Mix well and put over beef. Seal the bag and marinade in the fridge or ice chest approximately 4 hours.
Preparation all the veggies and reserved up until prepared to prepare.
Include 2 tablespoons oil into a big fry pan or wok, and heat on medium high heat for 2 minutes.
Include the steak to the pan in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes, eliminate from the pan and set on a plate.
Include 2 tablespoons of oil to the hot pan and include the veggies. Prepare for 5-7 minutes. Thoroughly include the beef and all the sauce back into the pan and cook for an extra 2 minutes.
Switch off the heat, include extra sliced onions for an intense crunch if desired.
Serve over white rice, rice noodles or in lettuce cups.
